Its terms are an agreement with America’s Collectibles Network, Inc., doing business as Jewelry Television, whose parent company is Multimedia Commerce Group, Inc.⁴ The site names Bart Sichel as president⁹. You can send a piece back in its ‘as shipped’ condition within 30 days of receipt for an exchange or a refund³; purchases made between October 5 and December 24, 2026 can be returned until January 31, 2027³. You choose a refund as merchandise credit or to your original payment method, which can take up to 10 business days to appear³. Standard shipping costs $4.99 per order line and next-day $35.99¹⁶; the site’s banner offers free shipping on online orders of $99 or more⁹, while the shipping policy says free shipping is offered ‘at times’¹⁶. The risk of loss passes to you once JTV hands the parcel to the carrier, and we found no mention of shipping insurance^4,9,16. Even so, JTV says it will replace or refund a parcel lost or damaged in transit if you notify it in writing within 20 days of delivery, 30 days of shipment or 45 days of the order, whichever comes first; once a parcel is delivered to your address, it no longer covers non-delivery¹⁶.

Warranty & aftercare

JTV’s terms disclaim all warranties, express or implied, and say any warranty on its products may come from the manufacturer⁴. The one warranty of its own we found is for its Moissanite Fire stones: for the lifetime of the original buyer, it covers loss of brilliance and chipping, cracking or scratching of the moissanite¹⁵, but not the setting or a lost stone; you pay shipping both ways, and JTV decides whether a claim is covered¹⁵.

For everything else there is Jewel Safe, a two-year protection plan you add to an order — $43.99 on the bracelet we read — which covers most wear and tear, lost side stones, re-plating and one ring resizing, with shipping included^5,6. Without it, ring sizing is charged by size and metal and is offered only for gold and platinum, not for silver, vermeil or overlay pieces⁷. The GemStore in Knoxville can clean, size and remount jewelry through JTV’s repair shop²⁹, but we found no free cleaning or repair service^{3,5,7,9,24,29}.

JTV does stand behind its treatment information on colored diamonds: if that information proves incorrect, it will, at its choice, replace a treated colored diamond with an untreated one or give a full refund⁷. Its Gold Exchange buys gold, silver and platinum jewelry by mail — paying for the metal, not the stones — and returns your items free if you decline the offer³¹.

What JTV sells & what it costs

JTV’s sitemap lists 81,503 product pages³². In the 40 product pages our sampler picked at random, prices ran from $35.95 to $3,779.09, and 7 of the 40 cost under $100³².

JTV says it doesn’t give the 4C grades on most of its diamond jewelry; it will ‘from time to time’ have certified products, and the certification is always noted in the listing⁷. We found a GIA report on a loose natural diamond and IGI reports on lab-grown diamonds, loose and in a solitaire ring^12,22,23. A natural engagement ring set with a 0.70-carat center diamond had only JTV’s own grades — G-H color, I1 clarity — and no lab report⁸, and ‘certified’ diamond studs include a certificate without naming the lab³³. Appraisals cost extra⁷.

The product pages we read list each stone’s species, whether it’s natural or lab-grown, and its enhancement: the loose emerald we read is oiled, a sapphire ring heated, a mystic topaz treated by chemical vapor deposition, and the ‘blue jade’ beads on a bracelet are bleached, stabilized and dyed jadeite^1,2,10,11. JTV’s terms say it verifies and tries to disclose treatments, but some may happen without its knowledge⁴. Simulants and moissanite are named as such — a ‘Black Diamond Simulant’ is glass, and moissanite is sold by diamond equivalent weight with the actual weight stated^20,21 — and the menu lists diamonds, lab-grown diamonds, cubic zirconia and moissanite separately³⁴.

Labels aren’t always consistent: one bracelet is named for ‘glass-filled’ rubies while its enhancement field lists only ‘Heated’⁶, and JTV’s product help warns that bead material may not be described so as to accurately disclose its composition⁷. Its gem notes explain that adularescent labradorite is sometimes called rainbow moonstone³⁵.

Gold is described by karat, such as 14K yellow gold, without the alloy, and the gold chain we read is marked as hollow³⁶. Plated pieces name the base metal — ’14K Yellow Gold Over Sterling Silver’, ’18K Yellow Gold Over Brass’ — but not the plating thickness^{2,6,20,21,35,37}. Platineve, JTV’s own white metal, is described as ‘generous layers of platinum, palladium and rhodium over sterling’³⁸. We found no sourcing policy, such as a Kimberley Process statement^{4,7,8,9,22,24,29}.
