However, the estimated production time of 8-9 weeks extended to an arrival on April 8th, 2023, from my December 20th, 2022 order date. While I understand production delays, the communication felt lacking, and I found myself consistently seeking updates. Though polite, the overall experience left me less than satisfied.

The rings are undeniably beautiful, but my trust in this company has been shaken. My fiancé gifted me a stunning opal engagement ring on Christmas morning. Despite being cautious and removing the ring during activities like dishes, showers, and bathing the kids, a significant chunk has chipped off from the middle/side of the ring within just two months of wear.

Upon contacting Capucinne about the issue, they asserted that significant outside force caused the damage and insisted on replacing the entire ring, costing over $700. When I sought further clarification, my subsequent questions went unanswered, raising additional concerns.

The inability to replace just the stone in a ring priced over $1000 is disconcerting. The band, allegedly 14 karat white gold with prongs on top and an open back behind the stone, should not necessitate a complete replacement if it is genuine.

The combination of rapid damage and the company’s response leads me to withhold recommending them. The inability to submit an honest review on their website is another red flag. I plan to update my review after consulting with a local jeweler to determine if the stone can be replaced or if there are other issues at play. As it stands, this company is a no-go.
