Although all sales staff aim to make sales, none made us feel as comfortable as the team at Fraser Hart. After choosing a watch, Hamza carefully adjusted it to fit my husband and even stayed past his working hours to finalize our purchase. Molly, the store manager, was also very helpful and pleasant. While adjusting the watch, my daughter decided to buy a ring, and the sales assistant (whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch) was equally charming. Overall, it was a fantastic shopping experience, and I highly recommend them. I am also delighted that Fraser Hart has now opened a store in Sheffield, having previously bought from them online.

I received a lower quality product than what I ordered from Fraser Hart. I had a conversation with a male manager at the store, explaining the situation and expressing my disappointment with the poor customer service. I questioned the morality of hiding the Clarity Characteristics and if it was right to deceive customers. The manager informed me that they were not obligated to provide a 28-day returns period, but did so as a gesture of goodwill. I also asked about the level of service in the shop, to which the manager responded rudely and asked me to leave. Despite my calm demeanor, I may have used a few swear words to express my upset. In summary, I feel that I was misled into purchasing a product without being shown the IGI certificate, and the customer service I received was the worst I have ever experienced. I do not recommend Fraser Hart and suspect intentional deceit. I question if your managers are trained to dismiss customers with differing opinions. I hope Fraser Hart values ethics at a higher level and I await a resolution to this matter. If not, I will take further action. Additionally, after comparing the grading of the ring I was shown in-store with the one I received (supposedly the same quality), I discovered that my ring is of a lower grade. This is clear misrepresentation and the received product does not compare to what was shown in the store.

Despite being very cautious and storing it in the provided box, my platinum ring, which was sold as unbreakable, has somehow broken. After investing a considerable amount in this ring, they are now asking me to pay for the repairs. I assure you that the ring’s deterioration was not due to my handling but rather due to its poor quality and the company’s terrible service. “BE AWARE” – I wanted to surprise my fiancée with a necklace and matching earrings from Fraser Hart Bluewater for our upcoming wedding, planning to give them to her on Christmas. The sales assistant was helpful and even offered a gift receipt for the earrings, assuring me I could return them if needed. I spent £400 on the set, but later discovered my fiancée had chosen to wear her grandmother’s necklace. When I tried to return the items, a different salesperson informed me that the earrings were non-returnable, a policy not mentioned at the time of purchase. Despite the items being unopened and in their original packaging, my request for a refund was denied, even after speaking with the manager through the salesperson. I’m left disappointed and regret ever shopping there, feeling misled by the initial transaction.

I am very disappointed with the after-sales service. We have made multiple purchases from Fraser Hart over the years and have always had pleasant experiences during the buying process. However, I am now facing an issue with a ring that was bought for me two years ago, costing over £1000. Just after two years, a stone fell out and a claw snapped off. This morning, I was quoted £470 for the repair, which is nearly half the original price of the ring. I decided not to proceed with the repair, and now I am left with an unwearable, effectively worthless ring. I will not be purchasing from Fraser Hart again and will look for a new ring elsewhere.

I visited the Newbury branch to address an issue with a ring I had purchased. When I brought the ring in for repair 20 minutes before closing, the staff informed me they were about to close but invited me to return the next day to either exchange the ring for another item of equal value or have it sent out for repair. However, when I returned the following day, the manager contradicted the previous information given, stating I could not exchange the ring and would have to wait for my ring to be repaired. After being given contradictory information by three different staff members over two days, I felt very disappointed. Despite multiple follow-ups in person and over the phone, where I was repeatedly told they were still handling the situation, it has now been five weeks without my ring, any resolution, apology, or update. I’ve been waiting since last December, and it seems I might not get it resolved until Christmas.

Karen made buying a new watch a delightful experience. I’ll definitely return to her for my next purchase.

My husband gifted me a Gucci ring for our anniversary, which I’ve only worn a few times, primarily for dinner outings. Despite its minimal use and being under warranty, I was disheartened to find a stone missing after wearing it on vacation. Both Gucci and Fraser Hart in Edinburgh, where the ring was purchased, declined to fix it under the warranty, proposing instead a significant charge for the repair. Given there was no assurance against further damage, I opted not to invest more in the repairs. I am appalled by the lack of customer service from both establishments, especially since this isn’t the first defective item I’ve received from Fraser Hart. Additionally, I had to initiate follow-up inquiries about the repair or replacement myself, only to be told they believed the damage was my fault. This response is unacceptable, and I won’t be patronizing them again. Following Fraser Hart’s reply, they reiterated that Gucci’s experts considered the ring excessively worn and misshapen, thus voiding the warranty. I countered by suggesting that perhaps warranties should only cover unworn jewelry, as I had barely used the ring. It’s disappointing and frustrating to see such poor reviews for Gucci and to have a cherished anniversary gift I can no longer wear. It’s time for Fraser Hart and Gucci to realize that customers expect them to stand by their guarantees.

My partner originally purchased my engagement ring in December 2022, but it was oversized. We had to replace it in January because resizing wasn’t possible, only for it to break within a year. I returned it for repairs in mid-December 2023, and as of the end of February, I still haven’t received it back. They only reached out two weeks ago to inform me about the required repairs, which are apparently minor. It’s already been two months, and I’m unsure if it has been fixed yet. Every time I call, they repeat that it’s “currently getting repaired.” Given this experience, I’m definitely looking elsewhere for my wedding band.

I recently purchased my second Oris watch, but unfortunately, the leather strap fell apart within weeks. I took it back to Fraser Hart for a replacement, only to be told that the strap wasn’t covered by the warranty. They quoted £100 for a new strap, but I opted to use a spare from my own collection instead, given the poor quality of the original. I’ve contacted Oris to express my dissatisfaction and have initiated a small claim against Fraser Hart for £30 to cover the cost of the replacement strap. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience with Fraser Hart.

Just providing an update regarding my experience with Fraser Hart. I received an email from them which essentially echoed what I was told in-store. Following the suggestion of a Fraser Hart staff member, I opted to have my jewelry repaired at a local shop, which charged me £20.00 (This seems to reflect their opinion on their own repair services). The local shop also appraised my ring, valuing it at £370.00, despite it originally costing my husband £1,000.00. Based on this experience, I have decided not to make any future purchases from Fraser Hart.

The manager finally addressed me and requested that both my distressed 7-year-old daughter and I exit the store. Consequently, I’m nearly £1,000 down, and they’ve kept the earrings. It’s astonishing as I never took the earrings out of the store! The customer service was appalling. Bluewater Store – disgraceful!

The process was extremely fast and simple, the customer service was very friendly, and Ron was fantastic at promptly making adjustments to the links.

Fraser Hart’s aftercare and UPS delivery are both poor. After buying a Longines watch online and paying in full, I was told that next-day delivery would be available. However, this was not the case, and the provided phone number does not accept calls. UPS does not give a specific delivery time or call 30 minutes before arrival. Instead, you have to be available for delivery from 8am to 8pm, even if they change the delivery date without notifying you. Additionally, the tracking system did not work. Fraser Hart staff seemed to make excuses for their unsatisfactory agreement with UPS. If I had known about the lack of service, I would never have bought from Fraser Hart.

I was absolutely amazed by Riyn from Cambridge when she helped us with our wedding ring. It was incredible how she accurately determined my ring size just by looking at my hand! Her vibrant and enthusiastic personality made the whole experience much more enjoyable.

After reading other reviews, it seems common for this company to fault the customer rather than acknowledge the poor quality of their jewelry. This is the first time I’ve experienced such issues with jewelry, despite owning many pieces for years.

My wife bought a garnet and diamond ring from the store at The Mall, Cribbs Causeway. She was assured that the ring could be returned within 30 days for a full refund, even if worn. After wearing it for just a day, she found it uncomfortable due to the stones’ width digging into her fingers. We returned the ring and explained the issue, expecting a refund.

However, the store manager examined the ring, claimed it wasn’t in the same condition as when purchased, and denied a refund, citing scratches and dismissing our reason for return. He even questioned our honesty about the store’s return policy and casually compared buying an expensive ring to purchasing a T-shirt.

It seems if you buy jewelry from Fraser Hart, you’re expected to decide on a return before wearing it. Otherwise, the promised refund might not apply. Despite the receipt stating the item must be “as new and unused,” this contradicted the advice we received from the shop staff during the purchase.

Opting to take it to a more reputable jeweler to ensure a lasting fix, as this recurring problem was disconcerting. This experience sheds light on their 3.1/5 * rating, and I am left dissatisfied with the situation.

However, shortly after, the ruby fell out again, accompanied by small diamond chips. Upon reporting this, the response was dishearteningÑthe damage was deemed not a manufacturing fault, and they requested 45% of the value for repair, which felt like a rip-off.

Visited to buy a watch for my son’s 18th birthday. Initially saw two in the window that we wanted to try. The assistant brought out those two along with a pricier option without us requesting it. My son made his choice, but at the till, the price was £20 higher than the advertised window price. After discussing it with their manager, they agreed to honor the advertised price. However, it was disappointing that the shop window didn’t accurately reflect the prices. Just a reminder, though, that the advertised window price should be upheld by the company.

The product itself is stunning, but my rating is two stars due to an extremely negative online shopping experience. The courier delivered an empty box to my door, hastily leaving without securing a signature. This led to a frustrating back-and-forth via emails until they finally agreed to replace my ring. Explaining that the issue was between them and the courier was a difficult and time-consuming process, ultimately disrupting my plans. Despite the tardiness, the staff eventually provided assistance. I’d recommend physically visiting the store for purchases or urging the company to implement stricter measures with their couriers to spare others from similar ordeals.

I bought a beautiful Michael Kors watch from the Blue Water branch on December 8th, 2019. Unfortunately, upon getting home, I discovered it wasn’t working. Visiting the LAKESIDE BRANCH at the LAKESIDE SHOPPING CENTRE, the manager suggested it might be the battery and arranged to send it for repair to the Michael Kors center. However, it’s been over three weeks now, and despite multiple calls to Fraser Hart in Lakeside, I’ve received no substantial updatesÑthey often promise to check and call back but never do. My watch’s status remains unknown.

After Fraser Hart’s response (below), the assistant manager at the branch did call to inform me that my watch is due to arrive tomorrow. I appreciate the prompt follow-up, Fraser Hart. I’ll adjust my rating accordingly.
