I’ve had experiences purchasing jewelry from both the Islington Store and previously at Kensington Indoor Market. It’s unfortunate to share a disappointing review. For my 50th birthday, I bought a ring. At the time, I felt the assistant, though pleasant, might have been inexperienced. Unfortunately, the ring was slightly too big, and I lost it within two weeks. I don’t hold the shop responsible for this.

Upon contacting the shop and being advised to have my finger re-measured, I arrived on a Saturday without an appointment and was not permitted entry. They offered a 10% discount due to the inconvenience. However, during my recent visit (which incurred an additional cost due to a tube failure), I faced more challenges. Despite being informed of a 15% discount for certain service individuals, it was suspended due to an Amex discount promotion. I ended up paying the full price, contrary to what was initially communicated. Moreover, after payment, I was informed that the order would take six weeks despite the website’s indication of a much shorter timeline.

Reflecting on these experiences, I’ve canceled my order. Two wasted trips, time, and additional expenses have led me to question the values upheld by this organization. It seems that the sales team doesn’t prioritize customer value and the values promoted on their website aren’t consistently followed. Truly disappointed in this experience.
