You also pay return postage and carry the risk of a return lost in transit^1,3; shipping insurance isn’t mentioned, and for a lost parcel it sends you to the carrier first^1,9,14,15; no company is named and the founder is identified only as Giselle^{1,3,5,9,10,11,14,15,16,17}; its diamonds carry the store’s own grades, with no lab reports^{2,6,8,13,18,19}; and we found no Trustpilot profile²⁰.

Its brand story calls Aurelie Gi a US-based, 14kt gold demi-fine luxury jewelry brand⁵, and its founder is named only by a first name, Giselle, and writes of being born into a family of jewelers⁵; a retailer describes it as Dallas-based²⁴. Its business address is a PO box in Crandall, Texas¹¹, and its terms give a street address, 2050 N Stemmons Fwy, Suite 7135, in Dallas — written, oddly, into the clause on which laws govern the terms¹⁰. The domain dates from September 2018⁷.

Wholesale inquiries go to an email address at aniahaie.com¹¹, and at least one retailer presents Ania Haie and Aurelie Gi together²⁵; the site doesn’t explain the connection. Aurelie Gi says it has authorized retailers throughout the US¹ — its store locator loads a list of stockists, and we found no store of its own²⁶. It says it is a certified member of the Responsible Jewellery Council and a corporate sponsor of the Association of Professional Piercers⁸.

The team works Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM EST, and promises a reply within 12 hours during business hours¹. An order can be cancelled or changed only until it has been processed or packaged¹.

Returns & refunds

Its refund policy and its Shipping & Returns page give you 30 business days from receiving the order to return a piece in new, unused condition and its original packaging, after emailing for a return authorization^3,9; its FAQ says 30 days from delivery¹. You pay to send it back — it asks you to use an insured courier — and Aurelie Gi isn’t responsible for returns lost in transit^1,3. Refunds go to the original payment method within 7 days of receipt — 7 business days after inspection, in the FAQ — minus delivery charges^1,3; we found no restocking fee^1,3,9. Exchanges are only for the same style, you pay shipping both ways, and ‘a re-work fee may apply’¹. If an item is faulty, it asks for photos first and reimburses return postage once it confirms the fault⁹.

Sale and engraved pieces can’t be returned unless faulty, and the refund policy adds earrings, for hygiene reasons³. The FAQ goes further: all earrings, including pierced earrings, are final sale, as are customized or personalized pieces and sale and promotional items¹. Its product types include piercing jewelry, hoops and huggies, studs and earring charms²¹, so the earring rule covers much of the range. One line also says orders paid with Klarna will follow Klarna’s 14-day return policy once Klarna is available⁹.

Shipping & delivery

Aurelie Gi ships within the United States only⁹, and taxes are collected at checkout⁹. Its Shipping & Returns page lists free standard shipping in 3–7 business days for orders under $300, free signature shipping from $300, and next-day delivery for $30⁹. Its shipping policy gives a different table: free standard shipping under $300 in 4–7 business days, a $15 FedEx 2nd Day upgrade, and, for orders of $300 and above, FedEx 2nd Day with signature for $20¹⁴. Pre-order pieces can take up to a month to ship⁸, and you get a tracking number by email⁹.

We found no mention of insurance on the parcels it sends^1,9,14,15. If a parcel is lost, its FAQ asks you to contact the carrier first and file a claim, and to report it within 14 days of the expected delivery date; it says it isn’t responsible for carrier delays or losses but will ‘do our best to assist’¹.

Warranty & care

Aurelie Gi jewelry has a one-year warranty from the date of purchase, covering manufacturing defects only, with proof of purchase^1,8. Under its One-Year Free Repair Policy it repairs a necklace or bracelet chain that breaks without external force, or a piece that loses a stone, free of charge¹. Normal wear, accidental damage, improper use and snagged chains aren’t covered, and items from a promotion may be excluded¹. It doesn’t offer re-plating¹.

We found no free cleaning or resizing service^1,3,4,9,22. Rings come only in sizes 5, 6, 7 and 8⁴, and it offers only the sizes listed on each product page¹. For cleaning advice it suggests your local jeweler²².

What Aurelie Gi sells & what it costs

Everything is 14k solid gold, which it says is 100% recycled^1,2, ‘nickel-free’⁸ and ‘a durable and hypoallergenic metal alloy’ — the alloy itself isn’t named²². Its range includes natural diamonds, named as such in product titles²¹, lab-grown diamonds, and lab-grown emeralds, rubies and sapphires labeled as lab-grown²¹, as well as pearls, opal and ‘healing crystal’ charms such as red jasper and lapis^1,13,27. It also sells body jewelry, such as a 17-gauge lab-grown diamond barbell ring^2,21.

Diamond pages give the stone weight and the store’s own grade — ‘Color & Clarity: G-H / SI’ on a 3.876-carat lab-grown tennis bangle, ‘GH-SI’ on hoops^6,18 — but none of the diamond pages we checked mentions a grading report^{2,6,8,13,18,19}, and the page for a lab-grown pear ring of 2.37 carats total weight at $3,788 gives no colour or clarity at all⁸. Prices in our sample ran from $45 for a crystal charm to $4,308 for the tennis bangle^6,27.
