The catch is the definition of ‘custom’. Anything you change by talking to the support or design team, designs that aren’t on the site, and engraving all count as custom1 — and custom pieces are final sale2. What Keyzar sells & what it costs
Keyzar is built around engagement rings: you pick a setting, then a natural diamond, lab-grown diamond or moissanite1,15. Diamonds come with GIA or IGI reports1; lab diamonds are CVD or HPHT grown and, as Keyzar notes, chemically the same as mined ones1. Moissanite is a different stone (silicon carbide), graded D–F on the diamond color scale1.
All 25 product pages we sampled list 14k or 18k gold16, and the ring setting we checked in detail could also be ordered in platinum3. All white gold is rhodium-plated, which wears off and needs re-plating over time1. The engagement ring settings we sampled cost $1,400–$2,300 before adding a center stone16, and wedding and eternity bands $1,800–$7,45016. Keyzar also sells loose diamonds, settings without a stone, matching bridal sets and custom designs, but it won’t set a stone you bring1.
On sourcing, Keyzar says all its diamonds are certified under the Kimberley Process and that it uses recycled gold where possible13. These are Keyzar’s own statements, not third-party certifications of the store.
